Mrs. Sarah Olson

Mrs. Sarah Olson has been a second career educator in Western New York for more than a decade.  Prior to returning to college for education, Olson worked as an accountant for a roofing company in Dunkirk and a pineline company in Randolph.  Her educational career began as a fifth-grade math and science teacher at Pine Valley Central School in 2009.  During her tenure at Pine Valley, Olson worked as a Technology Integration Specialist, Math Interventionist, Second-grade teacher, Drama Club Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, and Teachers’ Union President. 

She moved to Jamestown Public Schools as a sixth-grade teacher in 2019.  While at Jamestown, Olson served as the Equity Team Facilitator, as well as being on the Shared Decision Team, Tier 1 Committee, ELA Curriculum Committee, Science Curriculum Committee, and the Running Club Advisor. Olson became a Frewsburg Bear in July 2022 as the Middle/High School Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Olson became the Principal of RHJ Elementary in Juy 2025 and is excited to return to her roots in the elementary education sphere. “I have a strong passion for younger learners and creating positive, engaging opportunities for them,” says Mrs. Olson.
