ELA 9/10 and 11/12 is a study of literature and writing in accordance with the NYS Common Core Standards.  We will be reading a variety of books and working on answering related inference, comprehension, and prediction questions.  Writing pieces will involve discussion of the writing process whereby students will be actively writing and rewriting to help further their understanding of the writing process.  Grammar skills will be enhanced, as well as articulating an understanding of the writing process.
