Ready, Set, Learn!

I am SO very excited for another great school year in FIRST GRADE!

Things to Know:

I will send home a monthly calendar to remind you of the specials rotation, holidays, etc.  This year we cycle through a 6 day rotation, instead of standard 5-day/Monday-Friday rotation!

I will also keep you posted about what we'll learn each week in Math (number sense, geometry, etc); in ELA (phonics/phonemic awareness through our spelling program; vocabulary through our read alouds, fluency & comprehension though Guided Reading & Anthology units, etc)!!! 

Also, you'll often find classroom reminders, suggestions, and information I feel can help us foster home-school connections come home in their folders!!! 

I'm looking forward to an amazing school year!
