MFEL

  • Math for Everyday Living, or MFEL, is a course designed to give students a look at the mathematics behind many facets of personal finance.  The material is divided into two semester-long courses covering such topics in the following five categories:

    • Budgeting
    • Borrowing
    • Taxes
    • Insurance
    • Investments

Students are also instructed in the use of Microsoft Excel and various internet resources to assist in many financial tasks including tracking spending, amortization of loans, and completing tax returns.

In the coming days, I will be adding links to all pertinent resources.

Meanwhile, if you wish to contact me for any reason, please feel free to call the school (extension 6205) or use the "Contact Mr. Laska" link at the left.

    Thanks!
