This is a senior course in which students will explore our local, state, and federal governments, its leaders, and processes necessary to run efficiently and smoothly. Students will examine the Constitution, its Amendments and principles, as well as current events and legislation. From elections, involvement in the media, or the economy, students will investigate what role the government plays and learn what is necessary to become an active and participating citizen. Attendance of one board meeting (either town or school board) is required for the course.
