Dates of 8th Grade English/Language Arts State Test:

It looks as if this test will be given during the month of April.  Remember that these test are the typical multiple choice and written response formats.  These tests take time and I expect all students will do well during both days of the test.  There are currently only 2 days for this test instead of the 3 in the past.  Also, as a district, we have decided to move toward Computer Based Testing-all portions of this state assessment will be done on the computer.  More on this will be forthcoming as I receive the information.

Sections of the Test:

Day I:  35 Multiple Choice and 5 Reading Passages

Day II:  7 Short Response Questions and 1 Extended Response Question
