Student of the Week

Each week I will be choosing a Star Student of the Week. This award is given to a student who gets homework in on time, is organized, prepared, and ready to work each day. He or she is able to participate and contribute to their success and the success of those around them. Week One: M. Swartzman This young lady has come to class prepared, organized, and pays attention throughout the class period. I am happy to say she is off to a fine start and will be successful this school year. Thanks for a great start, and keep up the good work!! Week Two: O. Sposato Working hard and participating in class discussion, as well as being friendly to others and myself in the hallway says a lot about this young lady. I am sure she will go far in all of her endeavors. She has told me she wants to get better at Art, and I think this is something that she will do very well with. Thanks for making a great first impression!! Week Three: A. Kyler Thanks for working hard on your homework, participating in class, and working well with others in the classroom. It's a big deal to have students like you remain consistent as we start out the school year. Thank again, and keep up the great work!! Week Four: C. Lobb Working hard and staying dedicated to the work, asking questions that are relevant and important, I admire this young lady for her time management and her dedication. Keep up the good work!! Week Five: J. Dziubinski Thanks for participating in class, being diligent with your homework, and staying on top of the busyness of 7th grade. Keep up the hard work, and thanks again for all you do to make our class a success!! Week Six: C. Garvey Continuing to work hard as we progress through the quarter, this young lady will go far in life if she remains persistent and dedicated to her work in the classroom. Thanks for keeping up!! Week Seven: J. Peterson Working hard and continuing to succeed in my classroom, this young man will go places with his dedication and attention to all of his tasks. I appreciate the work and look forward to sharing this school year with such a great young man. Week Eight: S. Barrus Working hard, reading with emotion, and helping the class stay on task are all great attributes in this young lady. I am thankful for her hard work and her dedication to our work in ELA. Keep up the good work, and thanks again!! Week Nine: O. Lynn Working consistently, answering questions, and trying to the best of her ability makes me smile in the classroom. This young lady is friendly and caring, and always comes to class prepared, ready to go, and ready to learn. Week Ten: C. Swiston Working hard, answering questions, and being an all around model student will take this young lady far in her academic career. Keep up the good work, and thanks for taking the time to do your best!! Week Eleven: C. O'Brien Working diligently, progressing and always getting his work in on time, I appreciate the efforts of this young man in ELA. Keep up the good work, and thank you for having such a strong work ethic. Week Twelve: H. Boardman A young lady who always remains conscientious about her work, I believe her dedication and effort will take her far in her future as a student and in her profession of choice. Thanks for working so hard in a big class--your efforts do not go unnoticed. Week Thirteen: S. Whitehill Remaining busy all the time with her work, this young lady is thougtful, insightful, and willing to work with and help her friends and fellow 7th graders. I appreciate your efforts and look forward to working with you and hearing what you have to say the rest of this school year. Keep up the great attitude!! Week Fourteen: N. Mole Volunteering answers, discussing, and staying involved with my class are the key aspects to success in ELA. Thank you for your eager participation, your thoughtful comments, and your stellar attitude!! Keep up the good work, and enjoy your Winter Break!! Week Fifteen: J. Emley Consistently working to improve her grades, I appreciate this young lady's efforts to continually volunteer answers and remain dedicated in a big class. Thank for the hard work, it does not go unnoticed. Week Sixteen: K. Blanchard Working hard and remaining dedicated to her goals in ELA, I feel this young lady is a bright spot in my 3rd period class. She is attentive, works hard, and participates with thoughtful responses and good ideas. Thanks for the hard work, and keep it up!! Week Seventeen: D. Gregory Thanks for all the hard work and help with answering questions in our class. You do a great job and I only ask that you keep up the good work as we proceed through these winter months. Thank you as well for your help with some of your classmates. Week Eighteen: A. Bragg The hard work that this young lady brings in each day is stellar. I appreciate your efforts and would ask you to keep up the good work with the second semester. Your help also in volunteering answers and reading for us is also a big asset to our classroom. Thanks again!! Week Nineteen: S. Snow Working hard and remaining dedicated to all of our work, I admire this young lady for her thoughtful responses, her good attitude, and her strong work ethic. Keep up the good work, and speak up more in class--we'd love to hear more of your opinions. Week Twenty: J. Sanfilippo Thanks for the good work during this Hatchet Unit. Your work was well done, insightful, and helped all of us learn a bit more about the outdoors. Keep up the good work as we lauch into the second semester.
